The idea

When presented with an irregularly shaped new build plot, we saw an opportunity to step away form the traditional. Our client envisioned a sanctuary inspired by Islamic design.

The flora

Upon entering, low evergreen hedging establishes a sense of symmetry and formality, framing white borders. This serenity transitions to a vibrant palette: orange Geums, pastel roses, and fiery Red Hot Pokers. To ensure intimacy, seven strategically placed trees mask the enclosing high walls, while a rose-entangled archway and bespoke metal trellis divide the garden into distinct outdoor rooms.

The detail

The focal point is a striking hexagonal planter clad in Moroccan tiles of grey, orange, and blue, housing a mature Olive tree.
