We offer garden and planting design, project management and stand-alone consultancy, for everything from small city courtyards to sweeping rural landscapes. Drawing on 20 years of building gardens, we work closely with homeowners, architects, interior designers and trusted landscapers, reclaiming materials and celebrating what’s already there to shape gardens that truly belong to their place.

Garden and Planting Design

Every great garden begins with a conversation. We visit your site to understand the landscape, listen to your needs, and co-create ideas. From there, we translate that vision into a comprehensive design package including annotated scaled plans, immersive 3D visuals, hand-drawn sketches, and curated mood boards.

We provide professional soil analysis and select plants for year-round scent, texture, and colour. Our planting choices are also guided by ecological value: we favour native species and plants that support pollinators, birds, and other wildlife, alongside resilient varieties chosen to cope with our changing climate. We source from a range of nurseries we've built strong relationships with over the years, and we're always happy to visit them with you, which is especially worthwhile when choosing trees, so you can see their shape and character before they're planted. The result is a garden that looks beautiful today and keeps thriving for years to come.

Our Process

Every garden is unique, but our process is clear, collaborative and considered from the outset. We work closely with you to develop the garden and planting design, help select the right contractor, and oversee the project as it takes shape. Throughout, our approach is guided by a commitment to creating thoughtful, artful and wild gardens that will flourish into the future.

1

Initial Online Conversation

It all starts with a conversation. We’ll talk through your ideas, the site, how you’d like to use the garden and what you’re hoping to achieve. It’s an opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to get a feel for how we work.

Site Visit

We visit the garden to understand it in person - its proportions, aspect, existing planting, architecture, materials and wider landscape. We look closely at what’s already there and where its potential lies.

2

Concept Design

We develop the initial design direction, bringing together ideas for the layout, character, planting and materials. Mood boards, sketches and visual references help communicate the atmosphere and feel of the garden.

Detailed Design

Once the concept is agreed, we develop the design in detail. Scaled plans, planting plans, specifications (where required) and supporting drawings provide everything needed to bring the vision accurately to life.

Feedback & Refinement

Design is a conversation. We present our ideas, (sketches, illustrations or technical scaled plans) listen to your thoughts and refine the scheme together, developing the design together, ensuring the final design feels both considered and uniquely yours.

Construction, Planting & Aftercare

We oversee the transformation of the garden, working closely with trusted craftspeople, landscapers and specialist nurseries. We understand that sometimes, when on-site some things may need to change, or shift. We communicate this clearly with you. Once the structure and planting are in place, we can continue to support the garden as it establishes and evolves.

A Collaborative Process

Design is a dialogue, and we work alongside you to clarify and define the purpose of your space or garden, uncovering the hidden potential in what you already have. Wherever possible, we repurpose and reclaim materials while preserving and supporting the existing ecology. We seek to capture the atmosphere and feeling of a space, while charting a clear course for its construction and long-term management. From there, we develop planting concepts that curate colour and texture into schemes designed to evolve beautifully over time.

Project Management & Consultancy

We draw on long-standing relationships with trusted contractors to find the right one for your project. Once they’re appointed, we act as your advocate on site, overseeing the build with a keen eye for detail and holding every stage to the high standards our work is known for, so the finished garden stays true to the design.

We also offer stand-alone consultancy and independent advisory services to provide creative, achievable, and actionable solutions.
